The Saint-Tropez Tennis Weekend

Broken Rackets Club members gathered in Saint-Tropez for a weekend at Épi Baie de Pampelonne. Guests arrived from all over the world. Some driving down from Monaco, others flying in from Kuwait, Brazil, New York, and Miami. On Friday afternoon, guests checked into their bungalows, some had a chance to hit the golf course, while others wandered through the property before meeting for pool-side aperitivo.

We love arriving in Saint-Tropez at the end of May, when the sun sets late enough, it isn't too crowded yet, and the height of summer is just about to begin.
A Morning of Tennis under the Riviera Sun
Saturday morning started slowly with breakfast before heading onto the courts for a two-hour tennis session with Coach Christophe, former coach of ex-World no. 1, Amélie Mauresmo. From 10am to noon, the group rallied under the sun, mixing match play and games. Lunch turned into a slow afternoon. Some took a walk toward the beach, others stayed poolside for another hour in the sun, while a few squeezed in one last workout before everyone regrouped for dinner in town later that evening.

Sunday morning arrived, and with the beautiful weather, it makes it almost impossible to leave. A few members booked one last singles match before check-out, squeezing in a final hit before heading home. Everyone left Saint-Tropez slightly sunburnt, happy, and already talking about where the next destination should be.
More than anything, weekends like this remind us why we started Broken Rackets Membership in the first place: to bring people together through tennis and travel, and creating connections that naturally form when like-minded people meet.
